The Yellow House, a Craftsman-style home built between 1915 and 1920, was first occupied by Dorsey Stewart and her aunt.
 
In 1949, it became the office of Dr. Bob Williams. By 1953, it had been transformed into a flower shop, which changed hands among various owners over the years.
 
Adjacent to the east stood another Craftsman home, once owned by the Carnes family. Fred Carnes ran a harness and shoe repair shop from the building. Later, the home was inhabited by Alvin Ward, who worked as a photographer for the Camarillo Daily News and also drove a school bus.
