OUR MISSION
"Camarillo Old Town Association's (COTA) mission is to educate and enliven our community through programs which explore the heritage of Old Town Camarillo."
These goals are met by:​

Organizing the Heritage Day Fiesta, a vibrant 5-day event celebrating our community's heritage and culture.

Creating promotional materials and maintaining a dedicated website and active social media presence to enhance the visibility and appeal of Heritage Days within Camarillo and neighboring communities.

Collaborating with local tourism initiatives to position Heritage Days as a key attraction, contributing to Camarillo's reputation as a sought-after tourist destination.

Generating revenue through sponsorships and ticket sales from Heritage Days events, ensuring sustainable funding for future celebrations and community initiatives.
Take a walk through Old Town Camarillo and enjoy a fun mix of local shops and boutiques in a charming, laid-back setting. Ventura Boulevard is the heart of it all, offering great places to shop, grab a bite, relax at salons and spas, and enjoy local entertainment.

Start your day with a tasty breakfast at Old Town Café, a local favorite right next to the cozy Bella Capri Inn & Suites, perfect for a romantic getaway or weekend stay. Spend some time shopping at cute boutiques or finding great deals at nearby consignment stores.

On Saturdays, Old Town comes alive with the Camarillo Farmers Market, where you can browse handmade goods and pick up fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. When it’s time to eat, you’ll have plenty of options, from juicy craft burgers at BLVD BRGR CO. to creative dishes at Twenty88 Bistro.

Old Town Camarillo is also known for its fun events throughout the year, hosted by the Camarillo Merchant Association. March kicks things off with the Annual Beer March, and from March through October you can enjoy Friday Night Car Cruises on the 4th Friday of each month. Fall brings family-friendly favorites like the annual Trick-or-Treating event and Boo Fest. In December, Old Town Glow turns the streets into a winter wonderland, with REAL snow! The biggest event of the year is Heritage Days Fiesta in July, featuring five full days of nonstop fun, food, and entertainment.

Plus, Old Town Camarillo is on the Free Trolley route, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything the area has to offer.
